Architectural Design Engineer(House Plans - Backend)

www.Aalaya.ai looking for a Backend Design Engineer(Backend Designs) who has both technical expertise in CAD design and leadership skills to effectively manage a team and ensure successful completion of architectural home plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

AutoCad Design & Project Management

• Leading the creation of complete construction drawings / documents for architectural home plans using the AutoCad software from inception to completion..
• Collaborating with architects and clients to understand project requirements.
• Conducting quality checks & approving all detailed back end drawings of approved home plans.
• Ensuring drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Reviewing and approving drawings created by team members.
• 
  Resolving design issues and making modifications to the back end drawings as necessary.
• Keeping abreast of new trends and developments in architectural design and CAD technology.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that each project is completed ahead of time.

Leading & Managing a Team

• Overseeing a team (of 3 to 5)draftsmen working on back end construction drawings.
• Assigning tasks, setting priorities and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Providing guidance, training and mentoring to team members.
• Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members.

SKILL SETS & EXPERIENCE

  Get Hired
  BTech(Civil) / Diploma in Architecture / Design or a related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience (typically 3+ years) working with AutoCad, Revit or similar tools specifically in back end design (Construction Drawings). Drafting skills in EP is a must.
• Strong understanding of Floor plans, Electrical, Plumbing, Joinery & Sections. Knowledge in HVAC and Fire is a plus.
• Installation exp for Sustainable buildings is a plus
• Experience in preparing project schedules, budgets and cost estimates
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proven experience as a team leader, preferably in a CAD design environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
