Job Role Payroll Management Incharge Span Function Talent & Corporate HR Job Family Officer Reporting to (position) Group Head - Talent and Corporate HR Direct Reportees NA Job Context
Job Purpose The Payroll Management Incharge is responsible for overseeing the payroll processes within the organization. This includes managing payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions, compliance with relevant laws and regulations, managing leaves and attendance, and providing excellent service to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries. The Payroll Management Incharge collaborates with various departments to gather and verify payroll data, conducts payroll audits, and continuously seeks process improvements.
Job Dimension Job Responsibilities Payroll, FNF and Consultant payment Processing:
Manage end-to-end payroll and FNF processing for all employees.
Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with company policies, employment contracts, and legal regulations.
Process payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary adjustments.
Validate and reconcile payroll input inculding time and attendance data to ensure accuracy.
Address employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and benefits.
Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll-related concerns.
Educate employees on payroll-related policies and procedures whenever required
Timely processing of consultant payments.
Data Management
Maintain and update employee payroll records, including salary adjustments, tax withholdings, and other deductions.
Ensure accuracy of employee data in the payroll system.
Collaborate with HR and finance departments to gather and verify payroll-related information.
Compliance And Reporting
Managing payroll and Labour Compliances like: Provident Fund, ESIC, Profession Tax, Income Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, annual returns etc.
Ensuring timely payment of statutory dues within a timeline.
Stay up-to-date with payroll laws and regulations; ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
Prepare and submit payroll-related reports as required by regulatory authorities.
Managing quarterly and annual TDS return filing and issueing form 16 with 100% accuracy within the timeline.
Leave And Attendance Managment
Managing entire leave manangement area with accurancy in terms of Leave credit, Debit
Preparing monthly recociliation on leave balance
Preparing leave data for acturials.
Managing weekly off clashesh with public, national or optional holidays without any deviations
Preparing annual leave encashment data.
Audits And Reconciliation

Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of payroll data.
Managing internal and external audits
Physically visiting the locations for payroll related audits
Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare financial reports related to payroll for management review.
Process Improvement (Automation)
Identify opportunities for process improvements in payroll processing.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement automation and streamline payroll processes.
Stay updated with payroll software and technology advancements; recommend upgrades or changes as necessary.

Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Proven experience in payroll processing and administration, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role. Certifications/Trainings Certification in Payroll (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional, APA Payroll Fundamentals) is a plus.
Competencies
