Credit Underwriter

What role you will play in team: Evaluate loan applications and make credit decisions based on risk assessment and company policies.

What you will do: You will analyze borrower financial information, verify information, and assess the risk associated with each application.

Key responsibility:

• Review loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Assess the creditworthiness of loan applicants using various credit scoring models and guidelines
• Verify borrower information and documentation
• Conduct risk assessments to determine the level of risk associated with each loan application

• Make credit decisions within established lending guidelines
• Maintain accurate records of all credit underwriting activities

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in credit underwriting or a similar role (preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiarity with credit scoring models and lending guidelines
