This position reports to
Head - Product Management
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Sales organization and customers throughout the sales process by adapting ABBs products with customer applications to meet their requirements/specifications. Each day, you will select optimized products and technology for adaptation, prepare relevant documentation, and serve as a key technical resource for the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities by proactively prospecting, networking.
The work model for the role is: - Onsite
This role is contributing to the Motion Large Motors & Generators Division in Vadodara, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Offering technical advice and solutions on inquiries from customers/channels/Sales Specialists about ABB products/systems/applications.
  • Ensuring the achievement of budget goals, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and in the respective countries
  • Supports in preparing sales proposals and negotiate contracts to secure new businesses.
  • Keeps track of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential business opportunities
  • Supports the Application Sales Manager in preparing accurate sales forecasts, activity reports, and other sales-related information.
  • Understands customer needs and requirements, and effectively communicates the ability of ABBs solutions to address those needs.
  • Mandatory Travel to USA for Collaboration with US Application Team & support them with technical solutions.
Qualifications For The Role
  • Experience in HT/LT Motors and Generators.

    Technical experience on Proposal engineering, Quotation making, Sales and backend sales support activities.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a sales support role - preferred
  • Bachelor of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • High motivation and attitude to support organization
  • Valid Passport is Mandatory for this role since it requires International Travel.
