This position reports to
Financial Planning & Analysis Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to collect, analyze, and interpret financial data. Each day, you will update budgets and forecasting models and identify trends and problems. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive finan-cial performance and optimize business outcomes.
The work model for the role is: Onsite, Hybrid
This role is contributing to the ABB Services in Bangalore.
You will be mainly accountable for:

• Supports the analysis of business performance versus plan and proposes improvement actions. Per-forms benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar businesses within ABB.
• Works with management team to understand and analyze drivers of financial performance and iden-tify market trends.
• Prepares financial modeling for various hypotheses and analyzes impact to the organization. Supports the preparation of financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the relevant organization.

• Validates the accuracy of financial data and business information and reports through reconciliation and review of exceptions. Provides information to management by gathering and summarizing data, preparing reports, and making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.
• Optimizes their performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplica-tions, and coordinating information requirements.
• Performs controls within their area of responsibility, as designed. Maintains proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/internal/external audits and reviews.

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelors or masters degree in a Finance or Accounting, CMA/CA/ MBA Finance preferred
• Up to 2 year experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
