This is a Procurement & Logistics Specialist role, reporting to the Global Procurement Manager in Business Area - India Operations Centre, Process Automation (INOPC PA) based in Bangalore, India. You will be primarily responsible to support the implementation, maintenance and compliance of Procurement & Logistics (PL).Practice approved activities. Execute assigned activities based on the standard procedures.

Your responsibilities

• Design and implement plans for local sourcing to reach the business targets. Support regional and global sourcing initiatives as required.


• Apply and implement PL standards, tools and processes in the area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost and sustainability.
  


• Create and update reports, as required, following the ABB standards.


• Execute and implement new directions within the area of responsibility.


• Apply standards on health, safety, environment and business ethics within operational work, contract management and negotiations.


• Deliver and participate in training programs as required for compliance and professional development.


• Execute effective and transparent communication internally, externally and between different units and centers.


• Standardize processes and implements routines as per Group directives/instructions.

Get Hired


• Engineering Graduate in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics.


• 7-15 years of relevant work experience is required.


• Must have knowledge on Procurement & Logistics, Supplier Management, Process Audit.


• Nice to have knowledge on SAP Ariba.


• Hands on experience in Electrical and Automation Products.
