Legal Counsel

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our team. This role will play a critical role in providing legal guidance, support, and expertise across various areas of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Establish trust with senior business unit leadership through effective legal advice, communication and conduct on commercial matters, including drafting and negotiation of the customer, partner, procurement, and licensing agreements.
• Provide advice and assistance on regulatory matters. Overall, comfortable at being the go-to person for providing legal counsel support for multi-disciplinary transactions and cross border projects.
• Managing external legal support where required.
• Identify potential legal risks and proactively develop strategies to minimize and manage such risks.
• Assist in the protection and management of the companys intellectual property rights, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.

Requirements

• A degree in law from a recognized university
• 5 to 8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a corporate or commercial law firm, or as in-house legal counsel.
• Strong understanding of Indian laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess legal issues and provide practical solutions.
• Proficient in contract negotiation and drafting skills.
