ADNOC Trading Limited (AT) is seeking a highly motivated Specialist, Treasury Operations to join its Treasury & Trade Finance team in Abu Dhabi.

Incorporated in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), Abu Dhabi's international financial centre, ADNOC Trading Limited commenced commercial operations in December 2020. AT currently trades crude oil, LNG, and emissions, with ongoing plans to expand both its product portfolio and global footprint.

Job Purpose

The Specialist, Treasury Operations supports the Treasury and Trade Finance Department Manager in ensuring effective cash forecasting, working capital and liquidity management, as well as foreign exchange and interest rate risk management for ADNOC Trading.

The role is operationally focused and requires close interaction with internal stakeholders, banks, and external parties to ensure accurate, timely, and well‑controlled treasury activities.

Key Accountabilities

Job-Specific Responsibilities

• Support the cash flow forecasting process, including daily reporting to management
• Assist with liquidity management
  
  , including drawdowns from bank facilities and related activities
• Support the definition of short-, medium-, and long-term liquidity requirements and funding strategies
• Manage bank deposits, bank account administration, and support system integrations with IT teams
• Ensure bank files are prepared, submitted, and processed in a timely manner
• Prepare and complete monthly bank reconciliations
• Assist in preparing bank summary reports and cash reports for management
• Review and monitor treasury limits, banking facilities, and related conditions
• Support FX and interest rate risk management activities
• Ensure adherence to internal controls across all cash management functions
• Monitor and manage high-value transactions from initiation to final settlement (e.g. revolving credit, debt, dividends, group loans)
• Execute external payments accurately and within required guidelines
• Act as the primary point of contact for banks on operational matters, including payment follow-ups
• Perform end-of-day reporting of unsecured bank balances

• Strong knowledge of bank operations and cash management products, including:
• Business Online Banking
• Remote Deposit Capture (RDC)
• ACH, Wires, Lockbox Operations
• SAP

• High level of attention to detail with strong quality control and time management
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced), Word, and Power BI
• Knowledge of local banking regulations and wire transfer requirements is preferred

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in finance or a related field
• Minimum 2 years experience in personal or commercial banking or general banking operations

Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in treasury operations, accounting, or cash management
• Strong understanding of cash management best practices
• High ethical standards with a strong sense of integrity and accountability
