Job Title: Senior Finance Manager
(Series A) Accel portfolio companies
Location: Gurgaon, Bangalore

Looking for CA with 8+ yearsof experience in working with startups/MNCs/Big10 consulting firms. This person would be responsiblefor MIS management, financial control, governance and compliance

Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management and Strategy:
- Direct and oversee all financial operations within the organization.
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company objectives.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Create, manage, and forecast budgets effectively.
- Analyze financial data to construct decision-support financial models.

3. Review Accounting and Bookkeeping:
- Assess current bookkeeping processes outsourced to an external CA firm, with the intention to transition in-house during scaling.
- Manage customer invoicing and journal entry preparation for accurate accounting records.
- Ensure meticulous organization of financial documents for audit readiness, maintaining updated compliance records and filings.

4. Compliance and Control:
- Ensure adherence to statutory laws and financial regulations.
- Develop and supervise internal controls to maintain financial statement accuracy.

5. Auditing: Oversee both external and internal audit processes.

6. Relationship Management: Collaborate with external entities such as banks, auditors, and suppliers.

7. Cash Management: Manage cash flow effectively to ensure the availability of funds as required.
8. Tax Support: Review tax filings to optimize the companys tax position.
9. Reporting/MIS: Guarantee the accuracy of financial reporting and Management Information Systems (MIS).
