L3 Support Engineer (Scheduling And Scripting Expert)

• Manage and maintain scheduling tools like Autosys, CtrlM, and cron as part of a migration project.
• Develop, debug, and optimize scripts, primarily in Shell and Python, to support batch job operations and migrations.
• Oversee the
  
  Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, including implementing and pushing changes using tools like Git.
• Automate scripts and workflows through pipelines with a focus on functional automation, rather than deep configuration management.
• Perform analytical and debugging tasks to resolve issues in batch jobs, dependencies, and workflows effectively.
• Log in to Linux OS hosts using SSH to monitor, troubleshoot, and improve job performance. Perform file handling, pattern matching, and OS/disk monitoring to ensure operational efficiency.
• Analyze jobs and identify inter-batch dependencies, ensuring smooth workflows and effective job execution.
• Debug scripts functionally and address issues by understanding business and technical contexts.
• Work with relational databases using SQL for querying and analyzing job-related data.

• Proficiency in scheduling tools: Autosys, CtrlM, cron.
