Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Motor Underwriter - Insurance Broking at our Pune location. The role involves assessing risks associated with motor insurance policies, analyzing insurance applications, determining premium amounts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The Motor Underwriter will collaborate with brokers, clients, and other departments to deliver customized solutions, evaluate claims, and maintain high underwriting standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Underwriting and Insurance processes related to the motor insurance sector

  Effective Communication skills to liaise with INSURANCE COMPANIES, clients, and internal teams
• Fundamental understanding of Finance principles and their application in underwriting
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
• Bachelors degree in a related field such as Finance, Insurance, or Business
• Industry certifications in insurance or risk management are a plus
• Relevant experience in insurance broking or underwriting is highly desirable
