Data Migration Functional Consultant (MDG)

· Lead and manage data migration activities focusing on SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions, ensuring high standards of data integrity and governance throughout the migration process.

· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to master data migration and governance.

· Design, develop, and configure SAP MDG workflows, data models, and governance processes addressing critical master data domains such as customer, vendor, finance, and material data.

· Oversee legacy data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and loading into SAP MDG environments ensuring compliance with defined rules and data quality standards.

· Coordinate and conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) focused on data migration and master data governance scenarios.

· Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including migration strategies, test cases, data mapping, and training materials for end-users.

· Collaborate closely with technical and functional teams to resolve migration issues and facilitate smooth data transition during cutover activities.

· Support ongoing post-migration activities including data reconciliation, validation, and continuous improvement of master data processes.

· Stay updated with latest SAP MDG and data migration best practices and tools, recommending innovations to improve data quality and operational efficiency.
