Primary Responsibilities
Strategic and planning
Implementation of Energy saving Initiatives and Various Kaizen Initiatives to ensure gross margin improvement.
Implementation of safety practices (LOTO) to improve the level of safety at workplace.
Prepare the annual operating plan and forecasting of CAPEX requirement in line with business annual operating plan.
Implement improvement & automation projects.
Handling brown and green field projects related to expansion.
Drive various automation and operations efficiency improvement projects.
Implement smart factory and Industry 4.0 improvement projects and initiatives.
Core Functional
Monitor and resolve day to day maintenance issues.
Adherence to daily and weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of equipments.
Develop and Implement Preventive Maintenance schedule
Identifying causes of Failures and resolving through root cause analysis.
Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements.
Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors.
Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department.
Ensure all the operations efficiency and other improvement projects are completed as per plan.
Internal Processes
Ensure electrical/Statutory Compliances.
Ensure routine calibration of Process Instruments.
Prepare Monthly MIS report.
Ensure all costs are controlled within the budgeted limits.
People development
Ensure IDP needs of department are executed.
Creating skill matrix & implement plan for multi skilling.
Ensure team engagement & motivation through various engagement initiatives
