Product Owner

Job Summary

Responsible for maximizing product value and the output of the development team. Owns and manages the Product Backlog, including prioritization, grooming, and refinement. Communicates the product vision from the Product Manager to the scrum team and ensures backlog priorities align with that vision. Actively participates in all Agile ceremonies and works closely with the team to define, split, estimate, and deliver high-quality user stories. Balances feature development and non-functional requirements (NFRs) to keep the product competitive and is empowered to make day-to-day product decisions.

Job Responsibilities

• Communicate product vision and priorities to agile teams, with guidance from Product Manager or senior POs as needed.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog to maximize team output and business value.
• Define, document, and publish user stories and requirements in a timely manner.
• Provide clear, testable acceptance criteria and quickly resolve team questions.
• Participate in all Agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.
• Drive story decomposition to ensure work fits within a sprint and delivers measurable business value.
• Balance feature delivery with technical and quality improvements.
  
• Recommend process and quality enhancements.
• Share product and domain expertise with agile teams.
• Engage internal stakeholders and external partners to provide direction and clarity.
• Ensure high-quality delivery and continuous value realization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all corporate policies, including the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Required:

• Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience in software development.
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Work Environment

• Standard office environment.
• Majority of time spent working on a PC.
• Travel required, domestic or international.
