Job Description
- As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through various testing methodologies. With 5 to 7 years of experience, you must have a strong understanding of Software Quality Assurance principles and processes. Your expertise in Agile Testing Methodologies and experience in working with Agile/Scrum development processes will be crucial in this role.
Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide valuable feedback. You will be expected to create detailed test plans and test cases, estimate testing activities, and prioritize testing tasks accordingly. Your ability to identify, document, and track bugs effectively will be essential in maintaining the overall quality of the software throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience in manual testing, API testing, and database knowledge are must-haves for this role. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality at every stage of the SDLC and identify and mitigate any risks related to quality or schedules. Monitoring quality assurance metrics and staying updated with new testing tools and strategies will be part of your routine tasks.
