Job Description

Designation: Manager - Sales Planning
Location: Tamil Nadu / Karnataka
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech; MBA preferred
Industry Preference: Automobile / Auto OEM / Automotive Ancillary
Role Summary:
The incumbent will be responsible for driving Sales Planning and Business Planning activities across regions, with a strong focus on sales analytics, forecasting, MIS reporting, incentive management, and stakeholder coordination. The role requires close collaboration with Sales Heads and cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making and improve sales performance across Pan India operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive annual, quarterly, and monthly sales planning activities aligned with business objectives.
- Work closely with Sales Heads to develop business plans, sales targets, and market growth strategies.
- Prepare and publish periodic MIS reports, dashboards, sales analytics, and performance reviews.
- Analyze sales trends, market performance, and forecasting data to support strategic planning.
- Monitor sales KPIs and provide actionable insights for business improvement.
- Manage sales incentive planning, calculation, tracking, and rollout for Pan India sales teams.

- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders including Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Dealer Network, and Regional Sales teams.
- Support budgeting, demand planning, and business review processes.
- Ensure timely reporting accuracy and data governance across sales operations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in reporting and planning systems.
- Support management presentations, review meetings, and leadership reporting.
Desired Candidate Profile
- B.E./B.Tech with preferred MBA from a reputed institute.
- 5-10 years of experience in Sales Planning / Business Planning / Sales Operations, preferably in the Automobile industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in MIS reporting, sales forecasting, and business analytics.
- Hands-on experience with Excel, Power BI, SAP, CRM tools, or similar reporting platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Exposure to Pan India sales operations and incentive management will be an advantage.
