Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the organizations IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and servers.
- Install, configure, and update software and hardware systems as needed.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to ensure minimal downtime.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organizations data and network infrastructure.
- Provide technical support and assistance to employees, addressing any IT-related issues or concerns promptly.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to IT systems, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT vendors and service providers to resolve issues and implement new technologies.
- Stay current with technological advancements and best practices in the field of IT administration.
- Assist in IT projects and initiatives as assigned by IT management.
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as an IT Administrator or similar role, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
- Proficiency in administering Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), etc.) are a plus.
- Experience with ITIL framework or other IT service management methodologies.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python, etc.).
- Knowledge of database administration (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
