Wordpress Developer

We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level WordPress and Ecommerce Developer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a deep understanding of WordPress platform development, including plugins and custom themes, and a strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Scrum methodology. The ideal candidate will also be familiar with Shopify, adding a valuable dimension to their skill set.
Key Responsibilities:

Convert Figma designs into fully functional websites.
Develop custom WordPress plugins and themes from scratch.
Ensure high-performance and availability of WordPress sites, managing all technical aspects of the CMS.
Apply OOP techniques to solve complex problems and enhance site functionality.
Participate actively in Scrum meetings and follow agile project management methodologies.
Optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.
Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferable code.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with WordPress core, themes, and plugins.
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to plan and develop site content, style, and layout.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 2-5 years of experience in WordPress development, including plugins and custom themes.
Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
Solid understanding of Restful API integrations (JSON,XML, Graph QL).
Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
Familiarity with front-end development and responsive web design.
Proficient with code versioning tools, such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize.
Knowledge of Shopify is a plus.
Experience with performance optimization tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush).
Experience with Pixel and CAPI integrations
Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
