• Planning & deployment of IT Resources:
  

Plan the requirement of and deploy the IT resources including manpower, hardware, software and bandwidth to meet the Business requirements

• Reviewutilizationofexisting resources
• Assess additional requirements based on previous year and current needs
• PrepareandsubmitproposaltoFH(F&C)and implement the solutions once approved
• Formulate,implementandreviewITplanforthe Project
• Operations
  

Ensure uninterrupted operations of the IT systems to support the Business requirement.

• Put in place necessary basic infrastructure like power, air conditioning, dust-proofing, etc for the critical equipment like Servers, WAN equipment, etc
• Put in place a reliable security and authorization system to eliminate damage or loss to data
• Ensureregularbackupof data
• Keepreadyadisasterrecovery plan.
• AspenTech implementation.
• IP Telephony
• Continuous Improvement Identify, evaluate develop & implement new technologies (Hardware & software) and continuously improve system performance and solutions deployed to enable the Business to gain benchmark position.
• Assessthecurrentsystemandnetworkuptime and response times

• Planactionforimprovementsinuptimeand response times
• Regularly collect information on new technologies
• Evaluatethenew technologies
• Interactwithvendors& consultants
• VisitWebsitesfor assessment
• Prepareandsubmitproposalfor implementation

Monitor and control the Dept budget to optimise operating cost.

• Prepare annual budgets for Hardware, software, consumables etc.
• Monitorpurchasesagainst budget.
• Takecorrective action.
• Internal customer satisfaction: Ensure timely redressal of internal customer complaints to improve customer satisfaction.
• Modifysystemtoincorporateuser requirement.
• Monitorsystem regularly.
• Planperiodicalusersatisfaction survey.
