About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounts to lead financial operations, ensure compliance, and support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial reporting and taxation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end finance and accounting operations
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable standards
• Ensure adherence to statutory compliance, taxation (GST, TDS), and audits
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting
• Drive cost optimization and financial efficiency
• Develop and implement financial policies and internal controls
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for business planning and analysis

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory
• Minimum 2+ years of post-qualification experience after obtaining the CA qualification.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Tally, etc.)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities
• High attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines

Preferred Experience

• Experience in (Retail / Manufacturing / Corporate)
• Exposure to financial audits and regulatory compliance
