Job Context & Major Challenges
The Training manager is the custodian of capability building and performance of the 1000+ workforce spread across the country.
- To build training architecture (Operations managers as Trainers, Building training content and build training processes and dashboards) to deliver on the capability building agenda.
- To be adept at training delivery, content development and training management. This role requires a unique blend of expertise in Retail Operations and learning & development.
- To work with Operations, Buying & Merchandising, Product, Visual merchandising, Marketing functions to conceptualize, create and drive relevant performance enhancing initiatives beyond the basic capability building.
- To identify, evaluate and work with competent vendors to support in executing the learning agenda for the brand/channel
- superior influencing skills to be able to drive Operations teams and other function as none of them would have a reporting relationship though they are driven by similar business objectives

KRA1 Product Training 1. Basic Product Training for CCA though regular content creation and daily in store learning material
- Advanced product training for Store Managers on Project drive category
- Seasonal Product Training Manuals delivery
- Identifying the need and delivering in-store product training
- Identify and groom SM and MRM as trainers for delivering product training
- Plan around assessment structure
- Enabling MRM/VMI to test and improve product knowledge
- Co-ordinate with third parties for any specific training requirement – like Brand specific category (Product Team)
- Developing content or fine tuning the existing one according to business need

- Building VM capabilities in store team through MRM/VMI driving VM champ program
- Maintenance and usage of MST platform for store communications
- Building and handholding Store Manager as Coaches
- Conducting development centre for SM and MRM development through classroom training, on the job project and handholding
- Identify top talent pool of Store Manager and ensure their grooming through dedicated training, projects or stints
- Spend time at the store handholding the participants
- Make the required adjustments in content and suggest changes if any regd. Ways of working
- Help participants achieved desired outcomes
- Establish evidence for effectiveness of the intervention
