Job Purpose:
- Responsible for month end closing of accounts for corporate functions
- To ensure statutory compliances with respect to Income tax, IFC, statutory/tax audits with respect to Corporate functions.
- Ensure adherence to the company accounting policies and IFCR compliance.
- Team prepares BS reconciliations on monthly and reviewing of the same.
- Liaison with statutory audits on quarterly basis and ensure closure of audit, support team to complete SEBI results
Principal Accountabilities:
Accounting & Budgeting
Oversee day to day corporate functions accounting & operations- Handling, processing and recording of all financial transactions and overall management of accounts related activities including periodic review of trial balance
- Adherence to SOPs/Polices & DMS TAT Monitor & adherence.
- Circulation of weekly / Monthly /quarterly/Half yearly & Yearly MIS reports and timely closure of open items
- To ensure quarterly statutory audit requirements is provided for audit closure in time
Reconciliations
Reconciliations on monthly basis by co-ordinating with BPO team- Review of schedules prepared for statutory audit purposes
Stakeholder Management
Interactions with, Admin, HR, IT, MD office to resolve process deviations- Interactions with Internal Employees providing information/resolutions of queries/follow-up on obtaining confirmation etc.
- Interaction with statutory/internal auditors on providing information/resolution of queries.
- Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executives/director level)
IFC Framework
Periodic testing of controls and corrective actions- Convert manual controls to auto controls
- Focusing on preventive controls
- Highlighting claim related value violation to reporting manager for taking suitable acction.

Statutory compliance
Monitor on Income tax compliance & availing of GST Input tax- Ensure timely filing returns, payments etc
Processes & Reporting
Anchoring continuous process improvements within the function & across Employee service & Banking process
Team Management
Managing team of 2 to 3 resources and guide, motivate them to retain talent- Training and development of Team members and equip them to take up higher responsibilities
- To handle/support activities in overall audit
Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant
Minimum Experience Level:
7-8 Years
