Job Context:
Grasim (Staple Fibre Division), is the largest Producer of VSF in the Country. The Unit is revenue payer of the Commercial Tax Department in M.P. In current dynamic scenario, Indirect Taxation and Exim section plays an important & vital role in building and maintaining the image of business by way of adhering to all statutory compliance as well as maintaining healthy relationships, commendable rapport with Govt. Authorities. The critical job functions of this position are enumerated below:
The major challenges in Taxation section are :
Carefully check each forms & enclosures before submitting to Assessing officer to avoid rejection at the time of its submission to Dy. Comm. Office during assessment & avoid creation of additional Tax liability of SFD, ED & Excel Fibre Division and follow up with MBDD & other sales department for the same.

KRA1	Commercial Tax/Central sales Tax/Prof.Tax/WCT. 1. To ensure timely submission of C Forms, F Forms and Export evidence for Sales Tax Assessment to Assessing Officer for assessment verification and Prepare details for Assessments and Provide details required by Authorities for speedy assessment and attend. 2. Professional Tax quarterly Return work. 3. WCT return work. 4. Pending of various Appeal cases work.	1. Follow up with MBDD for timely receipt of declaration forms. 2. Carefully check each forms & enclosure of invoice details before submissions of statutory forms to assessing officer to avoid rejection at the time of its submission to AO during assessment & avoid creation of additional tax liability of SFD, ED & Excel Fibre Divisions. 3. Follow up with MBDD for C Forms pending matter and not/short received forms from parties tax liability debited thru MBDD. 5. Issue of E-1 Form to our customers. 6. Maintain liaison with Commercial Tax Authorities. 7. Pending of various Appeal cases-Talk with our consultant and attend hearing, Early hearing letters submitted to Appeal/ Tribunal authority, Various times sending photo copies of old cases to consultant, Stay order received from Tribunal and Efforts for fixing of date of old cases. 8. Professional Tax work-Follow up with SFD, Excel, CD, GH & BRI Workers & Staff data along with tax challans for filling of quarterly Return as per prescribed format. 9. WCT returns prepare & timely filing and also its payment details along with challans submitted to Tax Deptt. 10. Correspondence work with Comm. Tax Department, MBDD, Customers, Branches, Divisions and etc.
KRA2	Statutory Forms Issuance: To ensure the issuance of statutory forms to the vendors/customer from commercial Tax authority.	To Ensure Issue of E-1 Form to the customers and C, F forms to the vendors/units from commercial Tax authority.
