Planning & Development
Development of systems, procedures, plans to meet production/ maintenance target by effective utilization of equipments, manpower & other resources
- To ensure Planning, scheduling & implementation of PM & CBM activities of equipments
- Preparation of SOPs, SMPs, HIRA & SWI
- Encourage for innovative programs and special projects
- Create better synergy between cross functional departments like production, mechanical, and technical services, Implementing productivity, quality & customer service standards, completing audit, identifying bottlenecks, determining administrative system improvements
Implementation of approved operating Plan for Operation & Maintenance to meet Plant targets
- Ensure Planning of resources for implementation of PM & CBM plan
- Ensure Implementation of practices on reliability Maintenance
- Ensuring implementation of IMS and 5S systems
- Motivating the team for improvement in Overall Equipment Effectiveness
- Ensuring power availability throughout the plant distribution network
- Ensure compliance to OEM standards & guidelines
- Optimize MTTR and MTBF
- FMEA analysis
- Finalization of specification for spares
- Ensure availability of spares
- Ensure Implementation of ZBB.
- Vendor development
- Spare parts development
- Indigenization of imported spares
- Develop plan for Safe storage of spares
- Forecasting engineering requirements
- Determining annual budgets
- Controlling the expenditures by optimizing resources
- Updating and modifying requirements and solutions, preparing cost estimates and budgets
- Ensure minimum cost of operation and maintenance
Train, develop & motivate team to meet current & future challenges and sustain conductive work culture.
- Ensure Development of skill matrix and identification gaps

- Ensuring implementation on training needs by conducting in house and external trainings
- KRA development, Performance appraisal & feedback to subordinates.
- Identify potential employees and mentor them to develop succession line.
- Communicate, knowledge sharing and prepare employees about change
- Ensure Implementation of Safety, Environment and regulatory norms
- Ensure System implementation for energy conservation.
- Planning and monitoring to achieve International accreditations viz. ISO 9001/ 14001 , OHSAS 18001
- Interaction with OEM and vendors to timely complete project activities to improve availability of cranes and vehicles.
- Monitoring Project progress for testing, commissioning and ensure establishment of performance parameters.
- Ensuring timely submissions of statutory documentations & challans to relevant authorities like Electrical Inspector for annual inspections & fresh approvals.
- Development of management information system such as to represent the operational trends and finding out focus areas for developments
