Job Description
ROLE DESCRIPTION (POSITION SUMMARY):
- Drive the Managing Director's office by establishing governance discipline across business and functional performance reviews, enabling effective stakeholder coordination, and supporting the preparation and execution of strategic priorities, transformation initiatives, and special projects. The role ensures that key discussions are translated into actionable outcomes through structured tracking, cross-functional alignment, and timely closure.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Governance & Reviews Management:
- Drive governance cadence including leadership, business, and strategic reviews
- Synthesize business performance (financials, operations, KPIs) into clear insights
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness of review materials
- Track actions from reviews and ensure closure across functions
- Surface risks, deviations, and key decision points in a timely manner
- Enable prioritization of critical matters for the MD
B. Stakeholder Management:
- Prepare the MD for key engagements (leadership, board, clients, regulators) through structured briefs
- Develop concise communication materials (notes, presentations, talking points)
- Act as a central coordination point across internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure alignment and follow-through on commitments
- Contribute to leadership communication including strategic notes, external positioning and thought leadership.
C. Transformation Office:
- Identify and prioritize enterprise transformation initiatives
- Drive program management including timelines, milestones, and outcomes
- Establish tracking mechanisms and monitor progress
- Ensure cross-functional alignment and execution discipline
- Communicate progress, benefit, and impact to leadership
- Support in driving change management and initiatives to enable adoption
D. Strategy & Planning:
- Anchor strategy formulation and execution planning with the MD
- Drive annual operating planning (AOP) and Business Plan preparation (including updates based on internal and external ecosystem changes)

- Conduct market intelligence, benchmarking, and competitor analysis to provide actionable insights and recommended actions
- Evaluate business opportunities, investments, and strategic initiatives
- Translate strategy into clear execution roadmaps in consultation with MD and L1 leadership
E. Special Projects:
- Lead high-priority, MD-sponsored strategic initiatives
- Drive pilots, new initiatives, and strategic interventions
- Ensure end-to-end execution from concept to outcome in coordination with relevant stakeholders
- Scale and institutionalize successful initiatives
F. MD Office Coordination (Administrative - Light-touch)
- Align MD calendar priorities with strategic agenda
- Ensure effectiveness of meetings through agenda setting, documentation, and follow-ups
- Oversee critical communications and correspondence
- Track key office-level metrics and expenses, as required.
