ASSISTANT MANAGER - F & A
Your Responsibilities
To assist the Finance Manager in the Accounting process in the Trading or Solvent Extraction Plant .
Required - Qualification And Experience
Minimum of Bachelors degree in Commerce with CA Enter, communications, business administration or management, or related field with at least 6 to 8 years working experience in a reputable a vegetable oil processing factory or Solvent Extraction plant.
This position has an active, hands-on involvement in the day-to-day activities, long-term planning as well as all aspects of Account Payable, Accounts Reciavable, Vender and customer’s Ledger reconciliation, GST Accountiong , TDS Accounting, GST and TDS return, MIS report, Bank reconciliation etc of Accounts and Finance department.
  • Checking daily transaction for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Responsible for month end related journal entries and balance sheet accounts analysis
  • Prepare weekly and monthly report to the Management and relevant parties
  • Assisting in all Tax related procedures like registration, returns, maintenance of records required by tax departments
  • Implement finance policy and strategy at locaation in order to better position the business for future growth
  • Forecast cash flow positions, related borrowing needs, and available funds for investment
  • Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over Finance Department activities with compliance
  • Monitoring Fixed Assets Reports
  • Reconciliation of Accounts on regular basis
  • Assistance to auditors for statutory audit & Interim Audits
  • Assistance in the month-end/year end closing process & MIS
  • Coordinating with logistics clearing agents for Import & Export
  • Monitor of Inter unit stock transfer by preparing respective statements and closing & opening physical stock
  • Maintain banking relationships and negotiating loans and merchant services for business
  • Liaising with other departments and business units on a range of issues
  • Insuring Vendor Payments
  • Maintaining of Vendor & Customer Re-conciliations statement for Issuing & Receiving Form-C
  • Perform all other duties as assigned and required
Functional Skills:
  • Able to drive finance function with strong Team Leadership skills
  • Strong People Management Skills
  • Good exposure to ERP system
  • Strong Negotiation skills and Budgeting experience
  • In depth knowledge of financial law regulations and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Fluent in Marathi, English and Hindi, both written and spoken
