To drive heavy duty road tankers from Sharjah Depot depots to deliver to various customers, filling station/depots locations. u00A0depot. To ensure that vehicle is in good operating condition for delivery of products. To comply with all safety precautions and standards. To attend loading/offloading in the designate facilities.

Job Specific Accountabilities
u00A0
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Inspects the vehicle before loading to ensure that routine maintenance checks have been carried out by workshop personnel and informs any defects to Distribution Supervisor. Checks availability of hoses and couplings in the vehicle. Ensures that product compartment of the vehicle is empty before loading any products. Ensures that fuel tanks are full before proceeding on trips and that the vehicle is properly sealed before proceeding to deliver product.
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Heavy Vehicle Operator drives road tanker from loading bay to various customer or filling station/depot locations and back, according to dispatch schedules and work shifts.u00A0
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Assist the supply operator for connection/disconnection and loading of road tankers in the loading gantry.
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Collects Product Delivery Note/Product Transfer Notes from Dispatch Supervisor. After loading is finished gives them to the depot gate. Handover Product Delivery Note/Product Transfer Notes to customers/filling stations for their signature and returns them to Dispatch Assistant / Dispatch Supervisors after delivery of products.
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Connects and disconnects hoses to storage tanks at customer/filling station/depot sites. Ensures that the person in charge off- loading and receiving the product at customer site or filling station is present and ready to receive the product.
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Inspects vehicle prior to usage and ensures that vehicle is in suitable working condition and fit for delivery of product. Ensures that hoses, couplings, dipsticks and fire extinguisher are on vehicle. Checks oil, tires, lights, cleanliness (particularly windshields) prior to leaving depot. u00A0Reports any abnormal noises, defects or vibrations to supervisor. u00A0Takes vehicle to out-sourced garages as directed to be cleaned, serviced and repaired. u00A0Attends vehicle in the event of an accident or breakdown, until the arrival of workshop crew.u00A0
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Complies with all safety rules and regulations and adheres to (particularly speed limits) including the use of protective clothing and equipment. u00A0Maintain & keep the work environment in a clean and tidy condition including removal of wastes and spillages.u00A0
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Provides outstanding customer service and strives to provide a high level of service to all customers, at all times to ensure customer loyalty.
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Performs other similar or related duties when assigned by Distribution Team Leader or direct supervisor. u00A0
Internal Communications & Working Relationships
. Have good contact with Dispatch Supervisors / Dispatch Assistant and Supply Operators.

Minimum Requirements:
u2022 Primary School Education
u2022u00A0 u00A05 yearsu2019 experience with at least 3 years in driving H/D vehicles and transporting inflammable petroleum products
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Knowledge of English & Arabic languages (spoken & written).
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0UAE Driveru2019s License
u2022u00A0u00A0 u00A0Familiarity with the basics of customer service.
