Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Advocate for quality in web-based research software through creative and efficient testing strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure high-quality, timely product releases.
• Develop and execute risk-based test strategies, including functional, exploratory, and regression testing.
• Identify, document, and prioritize software defects, working closely with engineers and business analysts to improve quality.
• Create and maintain reusable test assets, test cases, and software testing documentation.
• Deploy and maintain test environments while leveraging client experience data to enhance product quality.
• Use data-driven insights to assess product quality and operational efficiency.

• Contribute to process improvements, cross-functional initiatives, and automation efforts within the SDLC.
  

Location
This role is open to candidates working in Bengaluru, India (Hybrid).
Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors degree; or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in testing web applications, databases, and interfaces.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage software testing projects.
• Familiarity with manual and automated test strategies.
• Exhibited strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated collaborative approach to problem solving with an Agile mindset.
• Familiarity with SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases.

• Minimum of 2 years of software testing experience.
  

Physical And Mental Requirements

• Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary workstation
• Regularly carry, raise, and lower objects of up to 10 Lbs.
• Learn and comprehend basic instructions
• Focus and attention to tasks and responsibilities
• Verbal communication; listening and understanding, responding, and speaking
