- Develop, implement, and maintain structured document control systems and procedures.
- Manage the receipt, review, distribution, and archiving of all project and operational documentation.
- Ensure documents are accurately indexed, labeled, stored, and easily retrieved.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely submission, approval, and issuance of project documents.
- Conduct regular quality reviews to maintain accuracy and integrity of document databases.
- Generate status reports on document workflows, revisions, pending approvals, and distribution.
- Train and mentor junior document controllers to maintain consistent quality and compliance.
- Liaise with internal departments, consultants, and external stakeholders regarding document-related matters.
- Ensure adherence to AECOM standards, UAE regulations, and relevant industry documentation protocols.
- Continuously evaluate and refine document control processes to improve efficiency and data reliability.
- Support large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects with strong coordination and communication.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of document control experience, preferably within engineering, construction, or oil and gas sectors.
- Strong proficiency in document management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of filing systems, metadata, archiving methods, and document security protocols.
- Experience supporting multidisciplinary projects and handling high documentation volumes.
- Professional certification in document control or records management is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation workflows.
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead junior staff and work collaboratively within diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to manage shifting priorities.
