Jiraaf - Leadership/CXO/Head - Investment/Structured Finance & Origination - NBFC/Financial Services

Role Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned and strategic investment leader to head our Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Structured Finance, and Corporate Lending functions. This role will be responsible for driving origination, syndication, underwriting, investor relationships, and internal investment committee processes for a fast-growing NBFC. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fundraising through NCDs, corporate debt structuring, and leading high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Origination & Deal Structuring:
- Lead the origination and execution of corporate loans, NCDs and structured debt
- Structure customized financing solutions based on client needs and risk appetite
- Drive the underwriting and risk evaluation process in collaboration with credit and risk teams
Fundraising & Syndication:
- Own end-to-end fundraising strategy via capital markets instruments (NCDs, private placements, etc.)
- Manage relationships with mutual funds, AIFs, banks, family offices, and institutional investors
- Lead syndication of deals through direct and partner channels
Investment Committee & Governance:

- Anchor the Internal Investment Committee by preparing cases, driving discussions, and securing approvals
- Maintain governance standards and ensure compliance with SEBI/RBI norms and internal risk policies
- Collaborate with legal and compliance for documentation and closure
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
- Build and lead a high-performing team across investment, origination, and structuring verticals
- Set performance goals and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Maintain effective coordination with internal departments - credit, legal, compliance, finance, and operations
- Lead and oversee credit assessment for issuers, borrowers, and investment opportunities across corporate bonds, structured debt, and alternative investment products.
- Establish and maintain internal credit rating methodologies and scorecards.
- Drive financial analysis, due diligence, and risk-return assessments for investment proposals.
- Review and approve transactions within delegated authority and support investment committee decisions.
Relationship Management:
- Deepen and manage long-term investor and borrower relationships
- Represent the organization in investor forums, client meetings, and strategic engagements
- Maintain strong industry connects for deal origination and co-lending opportunities

Key Requirements:
- Minimum 17 years of experience in DCM, corporate lending, structured finance, or treasury roles
- Strong understanding of NCD markets, fundraising strategy, underwriting, and credit evaluation
- Demonstrated ability to close large-ticket transactions and lead diverse teams
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and execution capabilities
- Must have handled a team of more than 7 people
- Experience in an NBFC, Investment Bank, or Lending Platform is preferred
Educational Background:
- MBA from Tier 1(IIM/IIT/IBS/SPJain/XIMB) ,CA, CFA, or relevant postgraduate qualification- Must any
