As a Senior Data Analyst in a cross-functional team, you'll provide support to the organization in various aspects related to data, analytics, and operations. You'll not only gather data, reformat data, validate data acquisition methods, determine data quality, integrity, and usability of the data but also ensure appropriate data types, trimming, cleaning, scrubbing, and conforming data in preparation for analysis and reporting.
How You'll Contribute
Apply data quality management principles in multi-functional settings specifically across the administrative and financial information supply chain as well as clinical progression of care.
Aggregates data and aid in data cleaning and management.
Uses data quality tools to proactively identify data integrity issues.
Resolve data quality/integrity issues
Collaborate with team members to innovate and provide support to business users including advocating for excellence in quality and customer service, increased automation and efficiency, and proactive business process improvements.
Performs data and process validations for recurring and ad hoc data loads and analytics for internal and external customers.
Conducts analyses of large data sets and produces reports utilizing tools such as SQL, R, and the Microsoft Suite for use in team meetings, presentations, and customer deliverables.
Develop tools, metrics, reports, and analyses to drive key business decisions.
Contribute to the test planning and execution of new and existing software applications, and/or dashboards.
Documents entire analysis process, including business problem, data sources, methods and tools utilized to complete projects/tasks
Assists internal and external users in resolving operational issues.
Provides insight and feedback for new technology and upcoming industry standards.
What You'll Bring
5+ years’ experience in one or more of the following: Health Care Finance, Health Care Compliance and/or General Health Plan Operations, Health Care Analytics/Reporting, Programming
Experience with data cleansing, transformation, validation, and monitoringLooking to get Placed? Try our Placement Guarantee Plan
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Great communication skills with technical and non-technical teams
Experience in a Healthcare / Government Programs fields is strongly preferred.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Working knowledge with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Sigma Computing
Experience in data base design and programming concepts, including relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle).
Experience in SQL and object-oriented/function scripting languages such as python, java, or equivalent
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Business Administration or closely related field; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
