Tax Associate - Goods And Services Tax (GST)

What role you will play in team: You’ll be part of a team focused on ensuring our GST compliance across various business operations. Your work will directly impact the accuracy and timeliness of our GST filings.

What you will do: You'll assist in the preparation and review of GST returns, ensure accurate recording of GST transactions, and support internal audits related to GST.

Key responsibility:

• Assist in the preparation and filing of various GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
• Ensure accurate recording of GST transactions in the accounting system.
• Reconcile GST returns with the general ledger.
• Maintain updated knowledge of GST laws and regulations.
• Support internal and external GST audits.
  
• Assist in resolving GST-related queries and disputes.
• Develop and maintain GST-related documentation.

Required Qualification and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field.
• 0-1 year of experience in GST compliance (preferred).
• Strong understanding of Indian GST laws and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
