Combining Machine Learning (ML) with the Internet of Things (IoT) opens up a vast field of innovative applications, from smart homes and healthcare to industrial automation and environmental monitoring. Integrating ML into IoT devices and systems involves collecting data from various sensors, processing this data (often in real-time), and using it to make predictions or decisions autonomously. Given the interdisciplinary nature of ML with IoT, the roles involved in this field are diverse, covering aspects of hardware design, software development, data science, and system architecture. The intern will also leverage the power of NVIDIA CUDA processors specifically designed for high-performance computing and deep learning optimization on NVIDIA GPUs. The aim is to develop a unique blend of skills across hardware and software engineering specific but not limited to IoT devices, emphasizing proficiency with CUDA and GPU-accelerated computing.

Monday to Friday, - 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Responsibilities

• Design, Implement and optimize ML models for deployment on NVIDIA GPUs using CUDA and libraries like cuDNN. Adapt existing ML algorithms for parallel processing to enhance performance and efficiency in training and inference phase.
• Develop and optimize embedded systems software for IoT devices with NVIDIA Jetson module or other CUDA-capable devices.
• Design the overall system architecture for ML-powered IoT solutions, integrating CUDA-accelerated processing units for both edge and cloud computing.
• Conduct research on new ML algorithms that can be optimized for CUDA GPUs, focusing on applications in IoT contexts such as smart cities, healthcare, and industrial automation. Publish findings and contribute to the advancement of GPU-accelerated ML research.
