Who are we looking for

We are looking for an analytically strong and execution-driven Assistant Manager, Finance to be a core part of our Finance function. You will own financial reporting, compliance, and business partnering, working closely with the Finance lead and business teams to drive accuracy, efficiency, and strategic insights. This is a high-visibility role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and takes ownership end-to-end.

What would you be doing

Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting and rolling quarterly forecasts in partnership with business teams. Track actuals vs. plan, flag deviations early, and build financial models to evaluate new initiatives and investments.

Accounting & Compliance Oversee day-to-day accounting - AP, AR, payroll, reconciliation, and month-end close. Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and all statutory obligations, and coordinate internal and external audits including responses to tax assessments.

Business Partnering Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to bring financial rigour to key decisions.

Process & Controls Identify control gaps, drive process improvements, and build SOPs that bring structure and automation to core finance workflows.

Financial Reporting & MIS: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS, including variance analysis, trend insights, and management dashboards. Assist in the preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards.

What makes you a suitable candidate

• MBA/ Graduate in Finance;
• 25 years of relevant experience in finance, FP&A, or accounting.
• Strong command of MS Excel / Google Sheets for financial reporting, modeling and analysis.

Get Hired
• Hands-on with accounting software -Tally, Zoho Books, or similar.
• Sound understanding of Indian taxation (GST, TDS), Ind AS, and corporate compliance.
• Prior experience in a consumer space or high-growth company is a plus.
• Structured thinker with sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
