Description:

Airbus is looking for a passionate and curious full-stack developer-Intern to join our Digital team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to work on our complete application stack, from the user-facing front-end to the back-end services and database. You will collaborate with a mentor and a product team to design, develop, and deploy end-to-end features using modern technologies, including Angular, Node.js, Python, MongoDB, and AWS.

Required Skills:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Solid understanding of fundamental computer science concepts, especially data structures and algorithms.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (including modern ES6+ features) and a good understanding of Python.

• Basic understanding of web development concepts (HTML, CSS, HTTP, REST APIs).

• Familiarity with version control, especially Git.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning new technologies.

Good to Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Angular (or a similar front-end framework like React/Vue).

• Experience building back-end APIs with Node.js (using Express.js or a similar framework).

• Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.

  

• Basic knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda).

• Knowledge of TypeScript.

• Previous internship experience or personal projects (please share your GitHub or portfolio link!).

Soft skills:

• Good communication & Advanced level of English, Active listening.

• Quick learner who can learn a new technology/skill/application.

• Knowledge of Sustainability IT will be an added advantage.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:

• Code Contribution: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both front-end (using Angular and JavaScript/TypeScript) and back-end (using Node.js and Python) components.

• Full-Stack Development: Assist in designing and building new features for our web applications, from the Angular user interface to the Node.js/Python API and MongoDB database layer.

• Collaboration: Actively participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and agile ceremonies (like daily stand-ups and sprint planning).

• Database Interaction: Help design and query database schemas in MongoDB to support application features.

• Testing & Debugging: Help identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs across the entire application stack.

• Deployment: Learn and assist with the deployment and maintenance of applications and services, gaining basic exposure to AWS.

  Documentation: Contribute to technical documentation for the features you work on.

• Candidates shall be willing to work in European Shift Times when needed(up to 10.30 PM IST in Summer and 11.30 PM IST in winter.)
