Business Development

Role Overview
The Business Developer will represent our consultancy in the UAE and international market and lead efforts to secure engineering consultancy projects with EPCs, operators, energy companies, and government entities. The ideal candidate must have strong technical understanding of Oil & Gas gas/oil processing systems, storage terminal engineering and facility engineering, combined with proven business development expertise. This is a senior strategic role meant for someone who is well-connected, technically sound, and capable of unlocking new business streams independently as well.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to engineering teams based on extensive field and design experience.

• Utilize strong technical expertise to support project discussions, solution framing, and strategic decision-making.
• Identify, pursue, and secure engineering consultancy projects across the UAE and International Oil & Gas sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with operators, EPC contractors, PMC firms, and regulatory bodies.
• Present our capabilities, offerings, and value propositions to clients effectively.
• Capture market intelligence on upcoming tenders, project opportunities, and industry developments.
• Develop partnership and collaboration strategies with local or international firms.
• Support proposal development, technical clarifications, and pre-qualification processes.
• 
  Represent the company in meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and industry events.
  

Technical Background Candidates must have hands-on experience (minimum 12+ years) in:

• Oil & Gas process engineering, facility design, and storage terminal engineering.
• FEED and Detailed Engineering deliverables.
• Reviewing and interpreting complex engineering documents. Standards & Codes Knowledge High proficiency in international standards including but not limited to:
• API (American Petroleum Institute)
• ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers)
• ANSI (American National Standards Institute)
• Shell DEP (Design Engineering Practices)
• ExxonMobil DEP

  ISO Standards relevant to Oil & Gas facility design Business Development Competencies
• Proven record of winning engineering consultancy projects in the region.
• Strong network within UAE and International Oil & Gas companies (ADNOC, ENOC, DUSUP, DEWA, EPCs, PMCs).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Capable independently managing BD cycles from lead generation to contract signing.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum, or Process Engineering.
• Prior experience working with engineering consultancy or EPC firms.
• UAE market experience is preferred.
• Understanding of commercial models, proposal pricing, and contract structures.
