Hardware Design Engineer

AjnaLens is looking for a Hardware Design Engineer (HDE 2) to join our Hardware Engineering Team at Thane (Maharashtra India).

We are seeking a highly driven and skilled hardware engineer with 46 years of experience in schematic design, component selection, simulation, and power analysis. In this role, you will contribute to the complete hardware development cycle and play a critical part in architecting and optimizing the electronics behind our next-generation AR/VR products and smart glasses. • Lead schematic design for efficient, high-performance, and low-power electronic subsystems used in wearable and immersive devices.
  
• Drive component selection and qualification, balancing performance, reliability, environmental constraints, and cost-effectiveness.
  
• Run circuit simulations and perform detailed power analysis to validate design robustness and optimize system behaviour.
  

Minimum Work Experience Required

4–6 years of hands-on experience in hardware design, preferably within consumer electronics, wearables, AR/VR devices, or embedded hardware development.

1. Strong expertise in schematic design and multi-layer PCB design fundamentals.
   
2. Competence in component selection, vendor evaluation, and BOM optimization.

• High-speed interfaces and signal integrity fundamentals
  
• Hardware–firmware interfacing and embedded system considerations
  
• Reliability testing, environmental validation, and compliance standards (EMI/EMC)
