Key Responsibilities

1. Reviewing Loan Applications

  Receive loan applications from customers or loan officers and check them for completeness and accuracy.

2. Verification & Validation

  Check CIBIL scores, credit history, and repayment capacity of applicants.

  
  
• 
  

  Validate employment details, income sources, and financial statements for accuracy.

  Ensure that all provided data complies with company policies and regulatory guidelines.

  
  

3. Coordination with Stakeholders

• 
  

  Act as a liaison between loan officers, underwriters, customers, and credit analysts.

  Work closely with the sales team to resolve application-related issues quickly.

  Communicate regularly with customers to update them on the status of their loan applications.

  
  
• 
  

  Coordinate with legal and valuation teams for property verification in case of secured loans.

  
  

4. Preparing Loan Files for Underwriting

  Organize all loan-related documents into a complete, structured loan file

5. Monitoring Loan Application Status

  Provide timely updates to customers about approvals, queries, or additional requirements.

  Follow up with internal departments to ensure faster turnaround times (TATs).

  
  

6. Compliance & Regulatory Adherence

  Ensure loan processing follows RBI, SEBI, and company-specific guidelines.

  
  
• 
  

  Maintain strict confidentiality of customer data and documents.

  
  
• 
  

  Keep up to date with changes in banking regulations, lending policies, and credit norms.

  
  

7. Resolving Customer Queries

• 
  

  Address applicant concerns regarding eligibility, documentation, and loan timelines.

  Explain loan terms, repayment schedules, interest rates, and applicable charges in detail.

  
  
• 
  

  Build positive customer relationships by ensuring a smooth loan application process.

  
  

8. Reporting & Documentation

  Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all loan applications.

  Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on loan processing, approvals, and rejections.

  Share reports with branch managers, credit managers, and senior leadership for review.
