The role supports business success by creating practical sales plans, managing territories, coaching sales consultants, tracking market movement, and building relationships with key customers and fleet operators.The successful candidate will manage daily sales operations, monitor performance, strengthen commercial discipline, and ensure the sales team is equipped with the product knowledge, customer focus, and technical understanding needed to compete in a demanding automotive market.Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial vehicle sales operations across assigned brands and customer segments.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets while maintaining profitability.
- Improve net sales, gross margins, and overall financial performance through disciplined sales execution.
- Develop sales strategies to grow market share for light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the corporate and fleet customer base.
- Assign and manage sales territories to improve market coverage and customer engagement.
- Monitor customer requirements, competitor activity, market trends, and economic indicators.
- Adjust sales plans based on market movement, product demand, pricing pressure, and business opportunities.
- Keep overdue payments within agreed limits and support healthy receivables performance.
- Lead, coach, and motivate sales consultants to achieve individual and team objectives.
- Manage daily sales planning, sales meetings, pipeline reviews, scheduling, and performance follow-up.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and develop sales team members to strengthen department capability.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide practical feedback to improve results.
- Drive product knowledge, technical understanding, and commercial vehicle training across the team.
- Build long-term relationships with key customers, fleet accounts, business partners, and industry contacts.
