Job Description

Head of SalesLocation: Dubai, UAEDepartment: Sales & MarketingReporting To: General Manager / Managing DirectorJob Summary:The Head of Sales is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the overall sales performance and market share growth across all retail channels in the UAE. This individual will develop and execute sales strategies, lead and motivate the sales team, and ensure the achievement of revenue and profitability targets. The role requires a deep understanding of the automotive retail landscape in Dubai and the broader UAE market.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the annual sales strategy, budget, and business plan for new and used vehicle sales.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the entire sales team (Sales Managers, Executives, Brand Hosts) to achieve individual and team targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients, fleet customers, and institutional buyers.
  • Oversee showroom operations, ensuring a premium customer experience and optimal visual merchandising.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Finance, and Aftersales departments to ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Monitor and report on sales KPIs, market penetration, and forecast accuracy to senior management.
  • Ensure all sales processes comply with company policies, manufacturer standards, and local regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

  • Minimum of 10-12 years of automotive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Head of Sales, Sales Director) within the UAE/GCC market.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a premium automotive environment.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive financing, insurance, and registration processes in the UAE.
  • Valid UAE driving license.
