Cashier - Exchange House

Job Summary
As a Cashier at our Exchange House, you will be responsible for handling currency exchange transactions, remittance services, and customer payments with accuracy and professionalism. You will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service, maintaining compliance with financial regulations, and ensuring secure cash handling.
Key Responsibilities

• Handle foreign currency exchange and remittance transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Process customer transactions, including cash, card, and electronic payments.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and balance cash drawers daily.
• Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML), KYC, and internal control policies.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service.
• Identify suspicious or fraudulent activities and report them promptly.
  
• Maintain proper filing and documentation as per regulatory standards.
• Support branch operations during peak hours or staff shortages.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a cashier or teller role (preferably in financial services or exchange houses).
• Strong numerical and cash-handling skills.
• Familiarity with AML and KYC regulations is an advantage.
