About the role
We have a role for Data Analyst – Media Monitoring. This role requires you to be an active team player for multiple clients and OMC agencies, being responsible for quality delivery of research templates, objectives, and overall solutions. You will get an opportunity to demonstrate your skills and inspire various stakeholders to realize the goals and visions of the Market Research function at Annalect India
This is an exciting role and would entail you to
- Support data collection and analysis for research and communications measurement initiatives.
- Review background information provided by client and account teams to understand the business challenge and research objectives to determine best research methods.
- Synthesize market data for deeper understanding and provide detailed market research findings.
- Deliver actionable market insights that will guide communications recommendations and help clients make business decisions.
- Participate in the following activities for clients or new business:
- Traditional or social landscape analyses including setting up queries, cleaning data from to remove extraneous results, and analyzing results
- Owned and competitive social channel assessments
- Customer insights
- Competitive intelligence
- Marketing & product strategy
- Key opinion leader (KOL)/Influencer profiling and analysis
- Use a range of research tools, primary and secondary data sources and proprietary platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address specific insights, issues or ideas and provide additional research as needed.
- Ensure all project work is performed in adherence with best practices and quality standards.
- Present analyses in a clear way that can be shared widely and communicated effectively with stakeholders.
- Ensure client deliverables present a coherent and compelling narrative supported by data.

This may be the right role for you if you have
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 4+ years of experience across a broad range of research categories and models
- Detail oriented, critically and strategically thinking when it comes to data
- Proven analytical and deductive reasoning skills; able to translate findings into meaningful insights.
- Ability to analyze data and extract the most salient points that provide important audience or market insights.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Exposure to listening tools such as Talkwalker, Brandwatch, Sprinklr preferred but not required.
- A team player who brings a passionate, positive, high-energy approach to client service and delivering results.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Results-focused approach and commitment to consistently meeting and exceeding the highest-quality standards of client service.
- Agency experience is preferred but not required.
