VACANCY FOR Construction Engineer
To carry out Executing the construction activities including installation and commissioning support of Alfa Laval projects within the set targets on quality, cost and DOT. To act as single point contact between the external customer and Alfa Laval for successful execution ensuring highest level of customer satisfaction.

The Position / About The Job
In this job the Construction Engineer would be responsible for:
Key Tasks And Responsibilities

• Planning & scheduling the construction activities.
• Execute the construction activites for projects with higher complexity & size within one or more application areas as per the agreed project schedule & specified quality requirements.
• Regularly monitor the progress, resolve operational hurdles/ bottlenecks that might hamper execution of project and report on daily basis.
• Monitor activities based on quality, cost, engineering hours & DOT as agreed at the time of project.
• Coordinate with cross functional internal and external sources to facilitate quality construction at the site.
• Attend site meetings with customer, consultants and external suppliers.
  
• Mechanical completion and handing over the plant to customer.
• Ensure appropriate Health & Safety measures are implemented at the site.
• Lead one or more construction engineer(s) and stores supervisor to provide timely support at the project site.
• Identify and inform to HO. An appropriate competent external outsourced agencies. if asked for
• Continuously enhance competency of team members working at the site.
• Ensure appropriate arrangements for team members working on project site ensuring their comfort, efficiency and work life balance.
• Ensuring talent retention.
  

What you can be

• DME / BE / B. Tech - Chemical/ Mechanical engineer having relevant experience in Project Management.
• Knowledge: Good understanding of construction activities of Process plants.
• Skills: Project Management skills are a must.
• Around 5 years of experience in relevant project installation or execution. Preferably in handling international projects
• and/ or Indian projects of MNCs.
