IT Specialist - SAP Support & Manufacturing, Riyadh

Job Summary

Supporting, maintaining, and enhancing business applications, ensuring optimal implementation, performance and seamless operation of SAP S/4 HANA systems. This role involves troubleshooting, issue resolution, user support, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• IT Support in Manufacturing Environment:
- Provide comprehensive IT support for manufacturing operations, focusing on the integration of IT systems with production processes.
- Manage and troubleshoot MES (Manufacturing Execution System) interfaces, ensuring real-time data exchange and operational efficiency.
- Ensure the smooth functioning of IT infrastructure, including PCs, printers, and network services, within the manufacturing setting.
• S/4HANA Implementation:
- Lead and support the implementation of SAP S/4HANA Implementation project and post Implementation Support.
- Good Working knowledge on SAP S/4HANA PP/DS (Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) module.
- Ensure successful integration of S/4HANA with existing MES and other production systems.
• Production and Quality Control Processes:
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of manufacturing production processes and quality control measures to align IT solutions with operational needs.

- Work closely with production and quality control teams to automate and enhance manufacturing workflows through effective use of technology.
- Experience in QR code and Barcode implementation, including integration with manufacturing systems.
- Co-working experience with PLC interfaces, ensuring seamless communication between IT and operational systems.
• Programming and Database Management:
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot custom applications and scripts to support manufacturing operations.
- Manage databases, ensuring data integrity and availability for critical production and quality processes.
• Technical Troubleshooting and Support:
- Provide expert technical troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Develop and document technical reports and issue resolution processes to enhance knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.
• Communication and Documentation:
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in English and Arabic.
- Prepare and present technical reports, project updates, and issue resolutions in a clear and concise manner.

Candidate Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- 5-7 years of experience as an IT Engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the industrial sector.
- Strong understanding of production and quality control processes.
- Hands-on experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and their integration with IT systems.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, Good Knowledge on the PP/DS module.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4 HANA architecture and business processes.
- Knowledge of SQL, database management, and basic ABAP debugging is an advantage.
- Experience with SAP transport management and system monitoring
- Proficiency in programming and database management.
