Job Description

As a Senior Business Analyst for an international project in Chennai, you will be responsible for interfacing with the business client to understand their needs and requirements. Your role will involve developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying business and functional requirements, and conducting fit-gap analysis. You will lead the collection, analysis, documentation, and coordination of these requirements to ensure alignment with project goals and stakeholder expectations.

In this long-term position, you will launch surveys and gather feedback from stakeholders, including business and IT teams, to evaluate the satisfaction and fit-for-purpose of solutions/services provided by the team. It will be essential to document business processes and workflows, develop and maintain business process models, and craft business cases to evaluate the feasibility of technology initiatives. You will also utilize rapid prototyping approaches to present as-is/to-be processes/workflows and rough designs of proposed solutions.
Your responsibilities will include following up on activities and action items, maintaining accurate records of assessment activities and stakeholder interactions, and preparing presentations and visuals to effectively convey ideas and plans to management. Collaboration with various business units such as HRD, WFA, IFC HR, GCS, and ITS colleagues is crucial to gather requirements, inputs, data, and ensure complete analysis and understanding of the subject matter.

To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor or Master's degree, along with over 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst. You will need to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency in Agile implementation, business requirement gathering, functional specification development, use case definition, test case definition, user training, and support is essential.
Moreover, advanced knowledge of specific business areas, processes, workflows, standards, and practices is required. You should be adept in using tools like Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Azure DevOps, prototyping applications, Microsoft Team, and SharePoint. Skills in creating process mapping, automation design, and experience in the banking and financial domain are advantageous for this position. Fluency in English is a prerequisite for effective communication in this role.,
