Title: Cybersecurity Project Manager

As part of Cybersecurity task force, the cybersecurity project manager is in charge of:

• Overseeing and coordinating cybersecurity initiatives
• Planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Collaborating with various departments to understand and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with security policies and standards.
• Maintaining effective communication between stakeholders to implement robust security measures and achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage projects across multiple domains, including cybersecurity
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables to ensure alignment with business objectives
• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including budgets and timelines
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure timely and successful project delivery
• Ensure adherence to cyber security standards, policies, and regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and maintain alignment across the organization
• Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and senior management

SPECIAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Investment Banking industry experience
• Proven experience in managing complex cybersecurity projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Ability to perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent cybersecurity certification
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and/or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are preferred
• Project Management Skills: Strong organizational and leadership capabilities. Proven experience in overseeing complex security initiatives, along with experience with project management tools and methodologies.
• Technical Skills: Mastery of security frameworks, risk management, and a thorough understanding of security technologies are imperative
• Communication Abilities: Proficient verbal and written communication abilities for articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and collaboration across teams.
