Job Description

As a skilled and experienced professional with 2-5 years of experience, you have the exciting opportunity to join alliantgroup's growing Valuation practice for US and UK Clients. In this role, you will be instrumental in performing and managing business valuation engagements for both financial reporting (US GAAP) and Tax Reporting across various industries.

Your responsibilities will include demonstrating strong communication skills, drive, and in-depth subject matter knowledge in valuations pertaining to Business Combinations/Purchase Price Allocation, Goodwill Impairments, Gift and Estate Valuation, 409A/Stock Compensation (ASC 718), reviewing of 3rd party valuations, assembling market/guideline/comparable financial and valuation data, valuation of Equity, Debt, Derivatives, handling Litigation arising out of Shareholder disputes, Financial Modelling, and an understanding of US Tax laws (preferred). Additionally, you will be responsible for Financial Reporting and Regulatory compliance under IFRS and/or US GAAP.
The ideal candidate will possess a CFA, CA, MBA, or similar qualifications, with CFA or MBA (Finance) being preferred. You should have proven hands-on experience, the ability and interest to work on multiple high-value projects simultaneously, proficiency in financial management software or a willingness to learn, at least 8 years of experience in the business valuation field, lateral and analytical thinking abilities, excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, a high attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, sound independent judgement, and great ethical values.
