Indirect Tax Specialist

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Specialist to join our team. The primary focus of this role will be on utilizing OneSource Indirect Tax (SABRIX) software to manage and optimize our companys indirect tax processes. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in OneSource Indirect Tax implementation and configuration, along with a minimum of 3-8+ years of experience in SAP modules, particularly in the FICO module. This role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, implementing tax solutions, and ensuring seamless integration between SAP and the tax engine.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize deep expertise in OneSource Indirect Tax (SABRIX) to implement and configure tax solutions for the organization.
• Collaborate with internal teams to map complex tax scenarios and requirements to the Sabrix Tax engine.
• Implement and configure Global Next Software to seamlessly integrate SAP modules and the tax engine, particularly with the /IDT namespace.
• Create and manage company codes within the Sabrix system, including custom rules, rates, transaction editors, reference lists, and tax code qualifiers.
• Validate and verify test results by thoroughly comparing standard tax calculation outcomes.

• Play a pivotal role in production cutover activities, ensuring a smooth transition, and provide post go-live support in conjunction with S4 HANA and the tax application.
• Leverage S4 HANA working experience to enhance the integration between SAP modules and the tax engine.
• Develop custom solutions on both SAP and OneSource platforms to address specific business needs.
• Lead requirement gathering sessions, working closely with stakeholders to capture and analyze tax-related business requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Extensive hands-on experience (3-8+ years) in utilizing OneSource Indirect Tax (SABRIX) for tax management and optimization.
• Strong knowledge and experience in at least one SAP module, with a focus on the FICO module; S4 HANA experience is a plus.
• Proven track record in successfully implementing tax solutions, including integration with external tax engines.
