**Role Overview:**
As a Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking Digital, you will be an integral part of a team that focuses on developing high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications using modern cloud-based technologies. Your role as a core technical contributor involves conducting critical architecture solutions across multiple technical areas to support project goals effectively.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design and architect scalable, responsive applications utilizing modern technologies and frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and UX/UI designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure all applications adhere to industry-standard security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance the development process and product quality.
- Engage with technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and propose technical approaches to meet current and future needs.
- Define the technical target state of the product and drive the achievement of the strategy.
- Participate in architecture governance bodies and evaluate recommendations on new technologies.
- Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine approaches.
- Develop secure and high-quality production code, review, and debug code written by others.
**Qualifications Required:**
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and a minimum of 5 years of applied experience.
- Hands-on practical experience in delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role in self-service or assisted customer-facing application development.
- In-depth knowledge of industry-standard security best practices for customer-facing applications.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and building cloud-native applications.
- Experience in domain-driven design, data modeling, microservices architecture, event & streaming technologies, and best practices.
- Advanced experience in API design and management, service definition, and consumption including API, brokers, REST APIs.

- Defining non-functional requirements and architectures to satisfy availability, extensibility, and resiliency needs.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
If you meet the preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills, it would be a plus:
- Experience with AI/ML, LLM, and Generative AI.
- AWS Certification.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Ability to work well at conceptual and practical levels, resolve ambiguity, and drive concepts into workable solutions.
- Ability to define target state architectures and develop realistic transition plans for achieving target state.
- Hands-on experience modeling with UML, object-oriented constructs, or other modeling language.
- Experience with formal enterprise architecture models and tooling, such as TOGAF.,
