Role Overview:
The Operations Manager III, POE Operations in Hyderabad will play a pivotal role in leading and optimizing critical operational processes within Amazon's dynamic and high-volume environment. This position involves overseeing end-to-end process execution, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence across various fulfillment and supply chain functions. The manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business development, to enhance efficiency, elevate customer experience, and deliver significant business outcomes. This role is instrumental in shaping the scalability and effectiveness of Amazon's operations in the region.
Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage complex operational programs and projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and delivering measurable results for the organization.
- Drive process optimization and efficiency improvements across POE (Process, Operations, and Execution) functions, leveraging data analytics and lean methodologies to identify bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and operational excellence to meet and exceed performance targets.
- Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to define operational strategies, establish performance metrics, and ensure consistent execution across multiple sites and teams.
- Manage operational budgets, resource allocation, and capacity planning to support business growth and maintain cost-effectiveness while upholding service quality standards.
- Implement robust quality control mechanisms and audit processes to ensure adherence to Amazon's operational standards and compliance requirements.
- Champion innovation by identifying and evaluating new technologies and operational practices that can enhance productivity, safety, and customer satisfaction.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 8 to 20 years of progressive experience in operations leadership roles, preferably within e-commerce, logistics, supply chain, or a similar industry.
- Adaptability to work in a dynamic, on-site operational environment in Hyderabad, collaborating closely with local and global teams.
